What certification means
Certification confirms that you can hold the full Threefold Hearth process with confidence and care. It marks a practitioner able to create containment, recognise activation as it emerges, support emotional regulation, witness without becoming enmeshed, and anchor relational work in shared meaning and direction. What the qualification finally represents is a settled capability to help people feel seen, supported, and connected.
Requirements
To become a Certified Threefold Hearth Practitioner, you complete:
- All seven training modules
- Twenty to forty hours of supervised practice, whether individual or group
- A live demonstration of facilitating a full Hearth process
- A written or video case study
- An ethics review and competency assessment
Competency is assessed across fire identification, Hearth containment, vision alignment, practitioner presence and pacing, and ethical application.
What certified practitioners receive
- A professional listing in the practitioner directory
- Access to advanced training and masterclasses
- Community supervision and peer practice groups
- Opportunities to teach or facilitate future cohorts
Ongoing development
Certification marks the beginning of a longer path. Certified practitioners continue with annual continuing education, access to community practice groups, and optional advanced training in areas such as practitioner-level rituals and multi-generational systems. The work becomes an ongoing embodiment of a way of seeing relationships, rooted throughout in safety, presence, and purpose.
Ethics at the centre
Ethical clarity runs through every stage of certification. Practitioners learn where the Hearth is appropriate and where other support should come first, including situations involving trauma, dysregulation, addiction, or unsafe relational dynamics. They learn to recognise the moment to pause, to refer onward, or to support stabilisation before relational work resumes. This care protects the people they serve and preserves the integrity of the model alike.
